CBD oil dosage

CBD oil is a great product that is getting more and more popular. It doesn’t contain harmful substances that can worsen your health. It consists of only natural ingredients and is suitable for taking orally. However, you should not buy the first cbd oil that you see on the Internet. Each product has a different dosage of the active substance, so you need to carefully study the characteristics to choose the right one.

Suitable for relaxation and pain relief, cbd products have been tested and proven to be effective and safe. However, each oil contains a different amount of cannabidiol, so each person will experience different effects. In addition, CBD products come in different forms. You should choose the optimal composition so that the oil helps you relax without negative effects.

Oil intake — only in a suitable dosage

The active substance of the oil is quickly absorbed into the blood. It affects all body systems, including endocannabinoid one. This system regulates the processes on which the perception of pain, mood, appetite, and so on are based. If it functions correctly, homeostasis will be correct too.

Cannabidiol affects each person differently. The level of influence depends on individual indicators, including weight, medications taken, diet, and so on. Therefore, the choice of oil dosage must be approached responsibly.

The first stage is to define a single serving. Basically, bottles with oil are sold with a pipette. With its help, it is easy to measure the required number of drops. Manufacturers often indicate the amount of active substance in one drop. This value can be determined independently if it isn’t specified in the instructions.

The method is simple: take oil with a pipette (its volume is about 1 ml). Count the number of drops. They don’t have to be poured, drip them into a bottle. Usually, there are about 40 drops in a pipette. If you bought a 50mg cbd oil, there will be 1.2mg per drop. If this dose is enough for you, take it orally or add it to your food. If the dosage is too high, choose 15-25% cbd oil.

First exposure to CBD

High dosages are for users who have been taking CBD products for a long time. To start, use minimal doses (you can start with 5% oil). A few drops will be enough to feel the effect and relax, get rid of severe pain. Gradually, you can take more oil. But you should be careful, as an overdose leads to side effects, which are severe drowsiness.

When the number of drops becomes insufficient, the dose should be increased. However, take it in a calm environment. Don’t go to an important interview or business meeting until you understand the effect of taking the oil.

If you don’t know how to properly increase the dosage of the product, read the instructions:

  • 1-3 days — no more than 5 mg/day;
  • 4-6 days — up to 10 mg/day;
  • from the 7th day — 15-20 mg/day, depending on the need.

In some cases, the effect of regular use appears no earlier than a week later. If the first dose doesn’t bring the expected result, it is not necessary to increase the number of drops the next time. Try to get used to the chosen dose. To feel the desired relaxation, you should take drops constantly. Then the effect will increase, and after a while you will feel that the pain decreased, and the general condition became better.

Daily dosage

The packaging of each oil type says that you shouldn’t take more than 100 mg of the product per day. If you want to understand what dose is enough for complete relaxation, you can try a different number of drops. Don’t forget to pay attention to your general condition, because excessive consumption of oil can cause:

  • drowsiness;
  • headache;
  • loss of appetite;
  • nausea, and more.

If you feel that after taking the drops you feel worse, try to give up the oil for a while. This option may not be acceptable when you take the oil to reduce the symptoms of complex diseases. In this case, it is enough to reduce the dose until the general condition stabilizes.

Forms of CBD products

CBD oil has become the most popular form. It comes in small dropper bottles. It’s very convenient to take it — a few drops under the tongue or in drinks and meals. It starts to work within half an hour, the active substance is quickly absorbed and gives a strong effect.

If you want a more unusual form, try sprays. They are intended for spraying into the mouth. The result is similar to taking the oil. Try to determine which dose is suitable for you to avoid overdosing. As a rule, this is one or two sprays (depending on the percentage of CBD in the composition).

After the product start working, you will feel how the muscles relax and the pain decreases. Metabolism will be gradually restored, and the skin condition will improve (acne and irritation will disappear). Try creams or balms for a stronger effect on the skin. They contain cannabidiol in similar dosages. All you have to do is apply the product to the desired area of the skin.

If you prefer pills, try CBD capsules. They don’t leave a nutty taste in the mouth, plus they work quickly. Put one capsule into the mouth and take it with water. The result is similar, relaxation and pain relief. Naturally, for the first time you shouldn’t take a remedy that contains more than 5% cannabidiol. When your body gets used to it, you can gradually increase the dose and enjoy the result.
